Thankful Windy Thursday In The City…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It’s Thursday once again. Happy Thursday! The harvest weather is certainly in full bloom. Cool mornings, cool evenings with some warmer temperatures during the day. It’s chillier and windy as the season continues. The beauty of the harvest with leaves on the ground everywhere.
As I drove to a larger city this week, my vehicle felt the wind blow as I traveled down the highway. The weight of the vehicle couldn’t stop from being affected by the wind. That’s just what we want, God’s glory in the wind.
Today, let’s ask God for the same wind to blow in our lives, towns and cities as we pray. Amen? Are you ready for some fresh wind? Are you ready for God to breathe new life on our lives, our towns and cities once again?
Let’s pray:
Father, thank you for breathing on our city, Oh God. Thank you for fresh wind. Blow down every street, around every corner, every church, home and business. Just as the wind blows the leaves from side to side, Holy Spirit blow down on Presque Isle (name your town or city) today. We prophesy revival, renewal and restoration.
Father, you tell us over and over again in your Word to ask? We ask and give thanks today. Holy Spirit, we invite you in our city. We make room for your presence in our towns and cities.
Father, visit our downtown like never before. Blow fresh wind, because you can. Drive out evil with good and rebuild the ancient ruins in our towns and cities once again. Thank you for reviving, rebuilding, and to you be all the glory. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Thank him for breathing new life in your town or city today.
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. (John 20:21-22) The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
