The Power Of A Prayer Shawl…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Monday! The mornings are cool now and the pumpkins are appearing everywhere. I must admit I bought myself a few pink pumpkins from the dollar store. I know pumpkins aren’t pink, but that’s one of my favorite colors.
As I visited my sister yesterday in the hospital, she was blessed with a prayer shawl from a neighboring church. That was such a special gift to her. All the prayers that were prayed over that shawl, I know God heard, because his Word says so. They don’t have to be eloquent words or long prayers; God looks at the heart. Aren’t you glad about that today?
1 Samuel 16:7 tells us that the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” We don’t know someone else’s heart. Although they may belong to a different church, a different denomination or maybe they don’t see things the way we see them, God hears every prayer. I love that.

Father, we thank you today that the spirit of the Lord is moving across this land. Father, draw us closer and may the people experience the Father’s love all across this globe. Father, you are the best gift to the world. No silver or gold could ever compare to the worth we found in you.
Father, thank you that you hear and answer our every prayer. You said to call on you and you would answer. Amen.
