A Day Of Remembrance…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Friday. Today we remember what took place on 9/11. I don’t believe the events of that day will ever leave our minds. I interviewed a dear lady on my radio program Destiny Moments who lost her son in that tragedy. It was a very sad day for my friend, a sad day in America, and a sad day in the world itself. May we never see anything like it again, we pray.
Last evening our city hosted an event. The Model T Ford cars and the Star City Syndicate Band was present. It was nice to see so many people come together. I had the opportunity to pray with some folks at the Good Morning Beautiful People Prayer Center and of course I was in my element.
Let’s pray for our nation this morning. Let’s pray protection over America. May we never see events like 911 again. Amen? Let’s pray for all the beautiful people that live within our city, our state and nation. Buildings can be replaced, but lives cannot.

Father, awaken the hearts of people in our nation. May they say No to hate, No to racism, No to oppression. May there truly be life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all.
Father, thank you for your Word. We do pray for peace on earth and good will to all man. (Luke 2:14)
Father, you established justice and righteousness. Evil and wrong shall fail and the righteous will prevail. Isaiah 42 tells us that Jesus will establish justice on earth. Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out or raise his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his teaching the islands will put their hope.” This is what God the Lord says—the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it: “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.
Father, thank you for being a covenant keeping God. You do not sleep nor slumber and your promises are yes and amen. Nothing is kept hidden from you, you are a God that sees it all. Thank you for rebuilding ancient ruins in our nation, cities, and lives today.
Father, I think of the prayer this morning once again of St Francis of Assisi. Lord, make us an instrument of Your peace; Where there is hatred, let us sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, Grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood, as to understand; To be loved, as to love; For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
