Thankful Thursday In The City…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I can’t believe it’s Thursday already. Tonight we will have another worship night with prophetic prayer in our city. I pray you take the time to pray for your city or town today. Prayer is the key to everything. We have a lot to be thankful for in the places we live, here in America.
Recently, I hosted a missionary from another country. A nurse by trade, she travels the world preaching the Word of God. I met Mable at the International Miracle Institute years ago now. I guess I would describe her as a firecracker for Jesus. She preached her heart out at the prayer center most evenings to an audience of one, Jesus. Her whole life mission is to serve him wherever she goes. Not looking for anything other than to hear him say, well done my faithful servant. I believe that is what we all want to hear him say, right?
Last Thursday evening I saw the firemen going around our city watering the beautiful plants on Main Street, Presque Isle. I enjoyed the beautiful flowers more this summer for some reason. Maybe because I have spent some time on Main Street in which I haven’t in many years. I hope you find some time to enjoy the beauty of the day.
Let’s ask God to visit our city in a fresh new way today. Just like the watering of plants, we need a visitation of his glory in our towns and cities like we have never seen before. The glory of the Lord that is.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for visiting our city today in a new way. We are thankful for what has been done in our town and cities thus far, but God we are looking for more.
Father, would you continue to shine light in the darkness and tear down the strongholds over our city. Father, you see everything, nothing escapes your watchful eye. May our towns and cities be a safe place to raise families filled with beautiful shops and an atmosphere like no other, because you are the God of our city, our nation and to the ends of the earth.
Father, thank you today that our city has a hospital, a library, colleges and services for your beautiful people. May you continue to fund them Lord from your throne room. “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” (Psalm 24:1)
Father, thank you for prospering our city. May it be a beacon of light and help to other towns and cities. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Thank him for visiting your town or city today.
And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:15
