Sweet Child Of God…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Tuesday! The 52nd day of summer. I heard lightning during the night, and it brought back to my memory this morning a drawing that was given to me over the weekend at a Tough Mudder event I attended. I told the beautiful people straight up for the past two years that I don’t like getting muddy and dirty, but I will go pray at your event. It was a real blessing to watch and of course I like being on the winning team, especially in prayer. It was a real blessing.
The youngster that gave me the drawing wrote on the back of the picture Jesus Loves You. She explained the picture to me this way. A tall tower with some color of pink (my favorite color), a square in which represented me, a lightning bolt and pizza. Hmmm… The joy of children. I saved it of course. I received two pictures that morning. Another youngster had drawn some creatures with arms in the air, lots of color, a lot of orange (another favorite color) and one creature had boxing gloves on. I believe one creature was holding a pink flower. Kids are amazing. I always tell people, if you want to know something ask a child. They are so innocent and pure hearted. God speaks through them all the time, but are we listening. God is near to the children.
This morning these two pictures brought to mind the prophetic word I received in Augusta, Maine, in 2008. As I walked in the conference room these children with prophetic giftings prophesied over me. Their leader sang Jesus loves the little children of the world as they filled my life with words they heard from the Lord. I knew that day I would always stand for life and stand for the children. How about you?

Father, thank you for the gift of children. We stand for them and we stand with them. Thank you for the gifts you have tucked inside each of them.
Father, you have a plan for every life. May these children discover early in life the plan you have for them. Protect them Good Father. You are a great God, and you love all the beautiful children around this globe. Meet every need they have, because you can. Send them help from on high, we pray. Thank you for going before them and making a way. Amen.
