When God Asks, Say Yes! Beautiful People…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Friday. I needed a little more rest this morning, so I am writing late. Hope you are having a great start to your day. I look for God everywhere and I hope you do too. His presence, his gifts to me, his love for his people, I love it all. Simply put, I am in love with following Jesus and I hope you are too. I am still celebrating Christmas in July. How about you?
For over a year now I would drive down Main Street, here in the Star City of Presque Isle, Maine where I call home. I was drawn to a certain storefront. The empty windows concerned me as I would drive by in our city, but I didn’t pursue anything. Soon my city became full of marijuana shops. I would cry at times as I drove down Main Street. But when God speaks, well we are supposed to listen and obey. Right? I took a step of faith recently and began a work in a storefront. I turned a recreational marijuana shop into a prayer center because God asked. Not because I had money, not because I was looking for more to do, but because when God Asks, you say yes, right? I covet your prayers and financial assistance as God would have you. He asks, he provides. Marijuana is a gateway drug; I learned in the classes I took the past few years.
I remembered and wrote previously about the prayer is the key float, praying for the nations that I had a vision for in the Christmas Light Parade as I prayed for Niche, France one afternoon. I had shared with a friend recently (thank God she is a medical doctor) as I prayed that night, I heard the enemy laughing very loudly. I just covered my ears and prayed on the back of that float with the white horse leading the way down Main Street, Presque Isle, Maine. I knew the battle was on for our city and its beautiful people. Will you join me today praying for this center and the city I call home. Prayer is the key to everything beautiful people, it really is. I will pray for your city as well. We will pray the prayer of agreement from Matthew 18:19 Again I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven”
Let’s Pray;
Father, thank you that prayer is the key. It is the key to every town and city around this world. Father, because you asked, I said yes. I pray you will speak to others, and they will say yes too.
Father, we declare victory. If God be for us, who can be against us. (Romans 8:31) Father, you said in Isaiah 54:17 no weapon forged against us will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses us. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.
Father, thank you for provision, for protection, for your plan for this center. May the world be changed because of the power of prayer. Amen.
